I have tried everywhere to find a fix for this but to no luck at all. But every time I do so, Vegas starts to freeze for about 10 seconds and then crashes with a message coming up saying "Vegas Pro has stopped working" and that Windows will tell me a solution for the problem which they don't. Now I want to see how the video looks that I have in my timeline (with effects on the clip) so I go to select part of the clip and press "Shift+B" to prerender it. So I go to open up my project file in Sony Vegas which opens up perfectly. I'm no "Tech" expert but the internet has helped tremendously.īut up until yesterday I came across a problem that seems to look like nobody else has had before. Been experiencing issues a long the way and have been able to fix them easily. The MOV files I process are created on a Black Magic Hyperdeck and are stored on 256GB SSD's.

I usually record videos at 1920x1080 resolution and then be able to edit no problem in sony vegas 13, but now that I got two bigger monitors at 1920x1200 I am "forced" to record on that, the problem is when I want to edit the footage it REALLY becomes slow and choppy its unbearable.
